While I'm not sure how fond I am of Sloane Crosley's writing, I am sure that I am growing fond of reading essays in general. I can get used to reading more types of books featuring funny, slice of life essays. As for "Look Alive Out There" I have already began a bullet point lists of all the topics I want to address in my review including Sloane's humor, realism, and her storytelling ability.

Started reading my first book of essays. Enjoyable so far. Hope this turns out to be a good book/author since I already bought, but have yet to read her previous book of essays "I was told there'd be Cake."
