DNF. I can’t. The plot works but the emotions are all over the place. One second it’s overflowing with cheesy confessions and the next it’s sputtering onto bland exposition. You see what the author is trying to do with a lot of the sentences and chapters but that’s the thing. The intentions are not subtle enough for it to feel like an organic read. Sorry.
