No progress update? Whatever! Starting Aquaman Volume 7: Exiled.
Three things:
(1) I've glanced the reviews, and everyone says this sucks.
(2) I used to hate Trevor McCarthy when he took over Nightwing from Greg Land, but since he went digital he's one of my favorite artists.
(3) The well's running dry on water puns for my Aquaman reviews!

What is up with the lack of progress update ability from the home screen. It sucks.

I'll be nice and give them the benefit of the doubt that they've removed it temporarily for maintenance. Otherwise, it's just another annoyance to throw on the mountainous pyre of Goodreads glitches.
This seems to be a web issue because I can still update my progress in the GR app on my phone. I do hope they fix this soon though.

Seems like that whole function is down until further notice. They really need to put out a maintenance alert or something to keep people from thinking it's a problem on the user end. I mean, they put out alerts often enough for things like Goodreads Awards.
I thought they changed the whole site with the new year. I review a book almost every day, so I really noticed the lack of the finish button.

Not the only glitch I'm dealing with at the moment, of which there are many. My latest issue is not being able to rate books that I've previously put on custom exclusive shelves. The site still thinks they're on those shelves even though I deleted them, and since you can only rate Read books, I'm unable to. I just sent them an e-mail about that. New Year new problems, I guess.

Anyway, if all this means a new and better site in the end, I'm fine with bearing some short-term difficulty.
I hope you liked this better than I did. It sticks out to me as one of the worst Aquaman books I've ever read.

Still early days for me, but this will definitely be the worst Aquaman book I've ever read. I give it all the possibility in the world to win me over by the end, but right now the only question I have is whether to give this one or two stars.
