I am usually very good with my reading challenge because primarily I enjoy reading but last year I kept moving the goal post and landed at a 50. Which is half of what I am aiming this year to read. So here's hoping to a stronger finish in 2019!

I totally relate. I always thought if I just had more time, I'd read so much more like in my teenage years but apparently you need some peace of mind too!
You really do.When things started to hit the fan, I hid in books.
I think I spent all of last Spring blowing through series thinking I could do maybe 10 to 15 in a week and clear maybe 100 in a few months.
The crazier things got, the less I felt like reading.
I tried to catch up last fall, especially with the "Halloween Reading" list I had to get through, but the holidays, a new job and other events completely sucked up my time and attention.
I wish you luck this year and will try and send some recs your way to keep you on target. :)
I had a 200 book challenge in 2020, and that went about as well as you might guess.
