This is a fantastic read that hit on a multitude of topics I hadn't considered. Mihee's personal reflections help to expose the damaging effects ubiquitous add-ons to Christianity (such as purity culture) have had on both individuals and overall group dynamics. Her explorations of "purity" and its ties to shame, racism, toxic perspectives towards gender, and abuse make this a must read in this era.
