Already now I can say: this book is absolutely great. Pickles brings together a whole wealth of literature he builds his own, very original arguments on. I hesitated to buy the book because of its high price (43€) but it is worth every cent.

so far the best I have read on mapping as a technique of representation, of governance, and on mapping as a practice. I found it was eye-opening and ground breaking.
