If I could have a super power, it would be to freeze time so I could READ MORE BOOKS!!!!!

How is it fair that work days pass glacially and yet reading time feels like its over before it begins?!

Le sigh. Mr. James Cavendish is calling to me. I apparently get cranky when I'm kept away from spending time with him :p

Kim Person I SO agree with you!!! My God, the number of books to read on my Kindle is worse than the work I have on my desk but alas I want to read what's on my Kindle but not what's on my desk LOL!

Aestas Book Blog James Cavendish is the swoony kinky Dominant billionaire from In Flight.

Here's my review --> http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) Janesko Aestas I feel your pain. I too am reading this book and had to leave it unfinished last night. It sucks. I am counting down the hours until I get off of work. I can't wait to get back to James. I think he is my new book boyfriend. I just adore him. he is so good to Bianca. Oh and that horse scene.. OMG!

Aestas Book Blog *melt*!!

Chris- Bookaddict *trot* anyone up for a nice trot LOL

JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) Janesko Oh I am up for a trot. That scene was hot!!

Chris- Bookaddict It sure as heck was lol

JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) Janesko James is one creative man. I didn't think you could do that on a horse. He is a sexy beast!

Chris- Bookaddict On a stallion you can hahhahaa

I've been riding horses nearly every day of my life since I was 8 and I promise you that in an English saddle there is no way that having a man behind you would help. In fact. Honestly, I'm almost positive it's not possible to happen. ESPECIALLY on a horse prone to bucking. But who cares. It's fiction. I'll let my imagination make it work lol.

Chris- Bookaddict Imagination is the best medicine sometimes lol ...

message 18: by Aestas Book Blog (new)

Aestas Book Blog Amen :p

JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) Janesko Good to know Aestas. I figured it would be hard to do however that scene was just sexy as hell.

message 20: by Aestas Book Blog (new)

Aestas Book Blog Yeah exactly. I figure it was sexy enought that I didn't care if it was possible or not lol

Britney I used to think there was something wrong with me when I am sitting at work and all I can think about is getting the hell out of here so I can go home and get back to my book. Maybe there is something wrong with that but at least now I know I am not the only one who struggles with the urges to ditch work for a book ;) Or the only one who will say "damn the consequences, I refuse to sleep until I finish this book!"

JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) Janesko Britney I am so on the same page as you. I often find myself at work wishing it were time to be home reading. YOu are not the only one.

Well thank God for that! haha

Most of the people in my life don't get it, so it's a great feeling to know that at least here- there are many, many people who not only share in my obsession but are damn proud of it! LOL

Haha no no, we're all right there with you!!

message 25: by Lee (new)

Lee You are definitely not the only one Brittany. Every break I get at work I read or am reading recommendations online. It is a sickness but one I'm happy to have. Now to get the house to clean itself and someone to come and cook dinner every night and I'll be peachy :)

message 26: by Aestas Book Blog (new)

Aestas Book Blog W all need minions to do our work for us so we can go back to our books!!

JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) Janesko None of my friends read like I do so I often really feel alone unless I am talking to a gr friend.

message 28: by Britney (new)

Britney Good!! As long as I am not alone in my craziness, I am more than happy to embrace it.

Okay that's a slight lie...I embrace my craziness regardless. It's just so much more fun when others join in ;)

Oh Lee, I am RIGHT there with you about getting the house to clean itself and someone to cook for me every night. Ahh what a beautiful dream :)

message 29: by Britney (new)

Britney JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) wrote: "None of my friends read like I do so I often really feel alone unless I am talking to a gr friend."

Well you are more than welcome to talk to me anytime you like :)

And I know the feeling!

JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) Janesko Thanks Britney. I think you will find I am very vocal on here. I am always talking with others and sharing my opinion. I love to chat about books I have read or about books I am curious about.

message 31: by Lee (new)

Lee Have to have those dreams Brittany, well, after the ones about the book boyfriends :)

Chris- Bookaddict I always Feel like I am going to lose it if I can't get to read , whether it is working , cooking, cleaning , leave the house without my Nook .. I go insane I LOVE to read and I wish there was more hrs in a day to do it

JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) Janesko Must have the book boyfriends!!!!

message 34: by Aestas Book Blog (new)

Aestas Book Blog I don't think I know a single person in real life who reads more than like 5 books a year :/ and none of them are romances. Sniff. I love Goodreads!!!

Chris- Bookaddict Same here Aestas , I have alot of friends that always give me a hard time because I love to read so much

message 36: by Elena (new)

Elena If it wasnt for my Sister i wouldnt know anyone that reads TWO books a year! Thank God I have my sister & Goodreads!!

message 37: by Ariana (new)

Ariana the most enjoyable moments are always short-lived :-)

message 38: by Elena (new)

Elena @ariana Wow! Very Nicely Put! & I def agree w/ you :)

message 39: by Britney (new)

Britney Chris wrote: "Same here Aestas , I have alot of friends that always give me a hard time because I love to read so much"

Do your friends know mine? Because they sound annoyingly familiar! LOL

My friends think reading 2 new books a year constitutes them as "people who like to read". And oh how they love to roll their eyes and give me hell when my response to their question of what I am doing is "reading a book, what do you want?"

message 40: by Lee (new)

Lee I get the same although i have turned a couple of my friends to the 'dark side' ha ha. They are just as addicted as I am now but still have friends that have no interest in reading fiction, much less romantic, angsty, smutty books. I does get a bit old being looked at like I have two heads when I talk about my latest favourite read. Oh well, their loss :)

JoJo - JJJ (Jo Anna) Janesko So there loss Lee. My friends think I am crazy. I don't watch tv I just read. It is my favorite hobby and they just don't get it. They think I am boring. Some friends right.

Chris- Bookaddict Britney wrote: "Chris wrote: "Same here Aestas , I have alot of friends that always give me a hard time because I love to read so much"

My ..."

Mine just think I waste to much time reading and I should be doing other things .. and yes people who think they read 2 books a yr and think they are readers sure don't know nothing in my opinion .

Britney Chris wrote: "Britney wrote: "Chris wrote: "Same here Aestas , I have alot of friends that always give me a hard time because I love to read so much"

So do mine. They think I need to go out more and "live in the world" blah blah blah. lol I literally had one tell me that "reading is such a mindless waste of time". I swear I about came unglued!

Chris- Bookaddict Britney wrote: "Chris wrote: "Britney wrote: "Chris wrote: "Same here Aestas , I have alot of friends that always give me a hard time because I love to read so much"

i would definitely rather read then do most of the things I have ever done or do . It surely is not a waste of time

message 45: by Britney (new)

Britney Exactly. Which is why when my friends spew nonsense like that I just quote John Lennon to them and tell them to shut it! haha

Chris- Bookaddict LOL good for you

message 47: by Tracey (new)

Tracey I watch less and less tv, our TiVo box is getting full - so have taken to putting on a show I like and reading at same time !! Trouble is next time I look up its 30 mins in!!

If people knew some of the books we all read they wouldn't think it boring!! Lol

Chris- Bookaddict hahahhaa it's funny you say that because my BF does know what I read and is constantly calling me a smut slut and trying to cover the screen on my Nook Color lol

message 49: by Britney (new)

Britney Lmao! That is hilarious. Tell him he is just jealous of your book boyfriends ;)

message 50: by Lee (new)

Lee Tracey you are so right. I'm sure they would pick up a book if they knew what was in ours. Having said that though I have a friend who didn't finish reading 50. Needless to say we don't discuss books.
I am watching less and less tv too. Why watch an uninspiring show when you can have a great one playing in your head as you read and bring the book to life
