All that SVG and Canvas stuff... Not actually all that much on SVG, but a *ton* on Canvas. But it's not all sinking in--I'll need to come up with a project to dork around with the Canvas APIs and figure them out. Reading alone won't cut it.

Skimmed it and/but: I'm glad he's included the chapter on jQuery--not because I'm a huge fan of the library, but b/c it's important to acknowledge its influence, and its place among JS devs.

Good to review the ajax material every once in a while. Also: every time I see JSONP I think "fancy!" and every time I actually see what it is I think "that's all?" ALSO: Comet: come again?
