When you're editing book 1 of your series and writing book 3 at the same time and just thinking...oh, the poor innocent children they were back then, with no idea what was to befall them within the next few hundred pages...

*coughs really hard* Um, yup, this is 100% relatable right down to the trying to work on different books in the same series XD
Ha! What about writing two entirely different books. It's pretty sad. Get a little bored with one book, switch to the other. Lol
Yeah...editing book two and writing book three's bad enough. It's like, man just you wait. You ain't seen nothin' yet.
I'm planning the sequels and sequel series while working on the first couple of books (recently finished the first draft of my first), and yeah, I totally feel that way. :'( And Book 1 was pretty bad, at least by standards of my writing....
We authors are just cruel like that :P
