So I am right-handed, which means that I hold my Kindle & my phone, almost exclusively, in my right hand to read. But I never realized how much I hold that whole arm up to do this.
Got a PICC line put in today & it's like, ow. Achy arm. Typing isn't helping either. Am sitting @ my desk trying to read w/my phone on a make-shift easel.
SO NOT COMFORTABLE RIGHT NOW!
Gotta figure out how to prop it on my boobs.

I tried it again sitting up but the tank wasn't supportive enough and all my regular bras push those babies together where there's no room to put the stupid phone.
This is really frustrating. I might have to make a shelf or something, and hang it from my neck? GAH!! #ReadingProblems

You can do it!"Definitely a PITA...but yeah, better than being in the hospital (again). REALLY wish the insurance had approved me doing it myself. I have the PICC line and after two treatments I already know the procedure for hooking up the IV to the port...helps that I have phlebotomy training (from working 5+ years in plasmapheresis) and I did let them know, but no. No go.

I do have one of those pop thingies on the back and have tried sliding it between my fingers with my arm at rest on my lap. I have to increase the font size and use my left hand to page-turn...but it's working for now.
I still think one of those trays people use to hawk food at stadiums, or in clubs for cigarettes, would be a good idea. Just have to see if I can rig one up from stuff I already have around the house...
