The two stories by David Bunch were different (and different from each other). I liked the first one (Incident in Moderan), but I got nothing out of the other - it felt a bit like an expressionist painting in words, but I found it to incoherent.

One more done - Eutopia by Poul Anderson. This very much dates the collection - and not by outdated technology, but by changing social mores. The "shocking surprise" of 1967 is neither shocking nor a surprise in 2018...and a good thing that is!

Well, the stories are definitely different. I'm now in the middle of "Riders of the purple Wage", and it is very avant-garde - with different, quite incoherent text fragments coming together to form a picture that slowly coalesces into a story. Hard going, worth it!

So far, I've read the 2011 introduction by Roberts, the 2002 foreword by Moorcock, the 2002 introduction by Ellison, the first 1967 foreword by Asimov, the second 1967 foreword by Asimov, and the 1967 introduction by Ellison. I'm now nearly ready for the first story ;-).
