Not happy with the gatekeeping. I can *kind* of understand it from Elle, as Starfield is something she shared with her dad and so it makes sense for it to be SACRED to her. But there's a LOT of weight given to knowing the trivia from the series and what "true fans" will think. Really hoping the characters can grow past that. Also wish the side characters (esp Mark?) were less flat.

Listening to this one in the car. Love Eileen Stevens' narration - the way she gives a distinctive twist to each character's voice while still maintaining the thread of her own style. Would have liked a bit of drawl for the stepmom, as even if she isn't a native Charlestonian, I can see her styling herself as a "southern belle."
Disappointed in Danielle's gatekeeping. Understandable, but I hope it changes.
