Salva had ran to a woman who looked just like his mom but found out that she wasn't. He's left heartbroken without a family in the camp for the next six years. The soldiers come and chase the refugees out of Ethiopia to a river with crocodiles. They begin to shoot and them and force them across. Thousands drown, are shot, and are eaten. Salva is the lucky one to get out alive.
