i don’t know if my taste has matured and it’s always been like this or just this book... but i feel like i’m being spoon-fed every single reason for every single emotion and feeling a character has when it’s already been conveyed enough through their actions/dialogue? idk it’s still going okay but it can get a little tedious sometimes it makes the book feel more padded than it needs
