I was unsure when I started this book if I would like the fantasy of it because I usually read realistic fiction or mystery. However, I love this book and find the fantasy as a large part of that. I like how the book incorporated fantasy into experiences that seem like they could be real.

The new adventures revealed to the main character and me allow for me to experience everything along with Percy. I find it interesting how Percy is questioning the fantasy of the book, just as I am, because it adds in realistic moments that I do not expect, but understand.

As I learn more about the book, I continue to get more and more interested in it. It has the perfect amount of adventure and explanation for a fantasy book. I like being able to learn everything along with the main character.

The book goes into an even more surprising turn of fantasy that intrigues the reader. The characters are described in a way that you can understand their personality, but still not be fully aware of what is happening, which shows how well written the book is.

I just finished the first chapter and even though I just started the book, I already find it very interesting. The book did an amazing job of describing to the reader what is happening, while giving us some idea of what is to come. The book that seemed realistic the first few pages took a suspenseful turn to fantasy and I want to know what is to come!
