I'm convinced that Pendergast either has a bag of holding or wizard's pouches; that guy always has anything he could possibly need right at his fingertips. It's a little ridiculous. I'm reasonably sure he could pull out a particle accelerator, cement mixer, and double dildo without any trouble, depending on what the situation called for.

It's Pendergast time again, and you know what that means: I need to start thinking about food metaphors (as one does when reading books that are often about serial, as opposed to cereal, killers).
