I thought this last chapter was a really good way to end this book. I think during this moment Dahl was kind of relief that he was being send back to England, he knew things were getting bad and that chances of surviving were becoming less. His crash in the desert probaby saved his life

I felt this chapter a relief for every pilot in greece though they were finally able to escape also more than one time it's shown the bad decisions taken by the british and the terrible communication they had during that time. Dahl was lucky he wasn't called to protect crete as he wanted because we would have probably got killed like others

For me this chapter was really interesting as well as the past two ones, because they talk about the first air fights with Dahl which I find really interesting perhaps because of the way Dahl writes them.

I thought that this two paragraphs were the most exciting for me till know, because it's when Dahl starts fighting, but in a really dangerous are were germans outnumber them and he still manages himself to get out alive, that's why I really enjoyed this two chapters

I felt this chapter was very long and I only found some parts interesting for example the beginig when he prepares to finish his training and when he crashes, and at the end when he flys to greece in his new Hurricane
