Initial Thoughts. This book can go die in a hole. This is a completely unwanted and unwelcome character alteration for Vee that makes her ugly as a narrator. I had issues had the end of Chaos they have been dangerously amplified for the start of Decent. If I don't see inprovement soon I might just stop. I defintely wouldn't have had that inclination if The Four Horseman series had been published as a single book.

Decent is getting better. I no longer feel like I want to put it down and not pick it up again. The last section read gave me a bit more of Vee on display. She's got nasty mood swings now, she's going from hot as fire to cold as ice. Girl time and Xander time were both appreciated.
