Wow, this is a pleasant surprise so far. Not only did the cover get my attention, the writing is smooth, the story is already getting complicated and there are several wonderful cast members. So far it's in the same category or genre as Clive Cussler, James Rollins books and Andy McDermott. I'm not too far into it, so we'll have to see what happens, but, it's a good book so far, fun, funny and a good read.

Okay, this is going to be a four star read, but on the usual GR Rating Scale not mine because it doesn't have a lot of ratings yet and I don't want my 3-3.5 star rating on my scale (which reserves 5.0s for very special books).
It's fun, maybe a bit campi here and there. I think to truly this book I needed to stop taking myself seriously. More later. Recommendable, fun read in the Terry Prachett vein.

Tommy Cooper, Matthew Butler (The "Butler who did it"), EB, Captain Z, Chan and his wife, all fun characters on an old WWII era LST (Amphibious ship) modified. It's a fun book, lots of fun, someone else should read it. I don't know how much, but surely a 3-4 star on the Hugh Scale.
