Reading through Lent (the schedule has them departing Rivendell on Ash Wednesday)

It’s hard to get anything else done in my life when I know there’s more book to read. They’re about go down into Moria so I’m getting emotionally prepared.

I “read” this back in 6th grade but clearly I retained NOTHING because I’m constantly surprised by all the differences from the movie. I feel like I never actually read a book until high school. Everything else was just skimming.
