Page turning read...at times. Really enjoyed first person narrative of Harry August.
The ending satisfied. The middle felt heavy & cumbersome in my mind to follow but that doesn't mean the book wasn't still fabulous. Even if the time jumps, the different perspectives, surrounding circumstances were too much for me to decipher, I still wanted to know if Harry could catch up with Vincent. I liked Harry after all...

My 18 year old son is a prolific reader and recommended Harry August to me.
Fascinating..almost 100 pages read. Something about this book reminds me of The Magus by John Fowles, which I read early 90's I think. My intrigue keeps me reading. Harry just sent a letter to biological father. Now he is with Virginia at The Cronus Club.
