Becoming an in-depth character study, with each precise dialogue an evocation of the speaker's frailest passions or desires. So in-depth in fact, that I cannot make my mind up as to whom I like/dislike. I am therefore both frustrated and enthralled. The joy of thought leaves the frustration behind, however, and I am on the edge of my seat, not thinking of standing up; the book holds me down while letting me run free.
