Ann stayed in the cave most of the time, except for when she put food on the deck for Mr. Loomis. Then when she did that she went back to the cave. Mr. loomis was using Faro to find where Ann was. Ann goes down to talk to Mr.Loomis about sharing the foods that were planted. Ann also slit the animals and crops with Mr. Loomis.

That night instead of have Ann read to him, he had her play the piano. She was really kind of nervous in a way because she could not see if he got up to see up behind her. The next day he didnt have her play the piano or read to him. She went up to the church with Faro after dinner. When they got back she decided to sit down on a hummock for a while.

Z for Zachariah is a pretty good book. it is an interesting book so far. Mr.Loomis is getting better, but he seems to get kind of mad when Ann asks him questions. I think it was a good idea for her to go back to the cave because she was getting annoyed with him.
