I loved this book from beginning to end!! It is not usually the genre I read. I have deep family roots in the oil field and my husband still works in the 'patch'! I live just down the road from the Daisy Bradford well on which this book is loosely based. Plus, I love Caleb Pirtle! I had the pleasure of helping take care of his parents in the mid 90's. Wonderful family!
