The characters are all so perfectly flawed. It's like there is not a distinct hero or villain, they all have aspects of both. This made the characters feel very real to me and that's one of the reasons why I loved this book even though it left me with a sad feeling.

Very beautiful, but also very sad in a good kind of way if that makes sense...
