The kittypet thing is kinda stupid... all the crap Blackstar gave Fireheart, and now you find out Blackstar's own leader was part kittypet? I hope there's an explanation.

Now /Russetfur/ started as a loner? This book is very disappointed. And Yellowfang is a very stupid cat. She has no brains at all, and she's not nearly as stubborn as she should be.

Since when do apprentice's receive dreams from the Moonstone? It's always been they travel to Highstones but they rarely actually go in. Look at Firepaw in Into the Wild. Everyone was so shocked Bluestar chose him to go in, and when he went it was this crazy experience that not all cats can handle. But this little apprentice goes in without a worry?
