Lola has just recently met her ACTUAL real-life biological father. His name is Nick James. Lola finds it really weird because, first off, her mother told her he was dead. And American (he's not). The reason her mother lied about Nick was because he went to prison for being involved with friends who were smugglers. Blythe (the mother) was SO ashamed,that he only got to see Lola when she was a baby and no more.

So far, it has been 10 years since Lola left Dougie for 12 1/2 thousand pounds. She did move somewhere with her friend to avoid see him, but she has recently moved back and how she was reunited with him again (not by dating) was by saving Adele (Dougie's mom) from some bad men. Doug's still furious with her, but she's determined to get him back. Sally, Dougie's sister has also recently moved in.Theres LOTS of drama!

So, I'm pretty early on in this book, and they just cut straight to the chase. On, like page 6 or 7, Dougie's mom had ALREADY offered Lola the ten thousand pounds, which is pretty much what the whole story is going to be about, to break up with Dougie. Pretty much everything has happened already and I'm only on page 20. And this is like a 340 page book too. I wonder what else is going to happen in the next 300 pages.
