I got this as my first Audible purchase, and despite being 32 hrs, I'm so glad I did. I know almost zero about the AIDS epidemic, let alone US politics in the 70s and 80s, so the myriad perspectives that journalist Randy Shilts includes as he goes through the history of its discovery are poignantly enlightening for me. (also fascinating to read on the heels of watching the movie Milk, re: Harvey Milk, on Netflix).
