As if the author knew it was difficult to like Sofia and Derek together, somehow she has managed to change my mind. I don’t know how. Despite knowing. They still keep slaves and still kidnap and murder innocent people, but I’m starting to appreciate the history of the Shade. I am actually Having a hard time putting the “book” down. 🤷🏻♀️

🤔 I can’t make up my mind about this series! Ben is the only character making any sense. I don’t understand Sofia’s infatuation with Derek. I’m thinking she has some major mental issues to make her miss the place where she was kept as a slave???
