Alan Gregory and Sawyer relive their lives together as they were once lovers. They keep finding clues about the murder and found out that Rand was the murderer who killed all the psychologists.

The main character and his wife are skeptical of the guy who is killing everyone. The detectives and the people involved are still trying to figure out potential subjects.

In this part of the book, the main character's wife and dog are in the hospital because the murderer tried to kill them. The main character is worried as he encounters another sabotage by the murderer. Didn't seem like an accident.

Everyone who is involved with the investigation and the killer met up and were at a hotel. All of them were giving and telling each other the information that they had and also the recent murders. The killer is getting sloppy as noticed by many and they try to figure out who he is by asking certain people.

There has been a lot of talking between Sawyer and the main character. There are many instances where people almost die and they think that the person targeting them is trying to make it think it was a coincidence. Sawyer was flying her plane and it stopped working and then she had to land and almost died.

Sawyer and the main character are reunited finally and they meet up and go to a casino. At the casino they try to figure out who is killing their friends and they are bringing up names of their old patients and potential suspects. They are at the casino because if someone is watching them, there are cameras everywhere and Sawyer has a friend that can watch out for them.

In this part we can see more in depth investigation of the murders tying into one subject. One paragraph explains how he found sawyer and how obsessed he was with her.

The part that I am currently reading is very interesting because there are now a couple of characters. The plot is that two people went to a funeral for a person they hadn't talked to in while and were approached by two other people at a diner and told them that they were going to die soon. They started an investigation and it is very interesting about the mystery of the deaths in the book.

It is the begging of the book and it’s a little confusing but it tells the story of how someone died and the main character that is talking knows the person and didn’t have a good relationship with him. I believe the main character is a girl because she seems emotional.
