My friend read 1984 by George Orwell for summer reading, and he’d recommended it to me. So far, I’ve read only a bit, but I can tell that I’m going to like it. The book follows Winston, a confused man in a time of absolute turmoil, where the government has become far too powerful, despite society not even having rules anymore.
