They have just brought Zan to a orphanage for animals and Ben is not happy because he have had him for most of the chimps life. Zan grew up with Ben and now the have to leave each other when they had such a good relationship. The author wants you to know there are hard times in life but you have to get through them strong

The author always shows and doesn't tell unless he is using dialogue. When the author writing make there be less description because there is to much in some pages. They would overload it on one page and there is nothing good on that page. When the author writes he wants you to know anything can happen, for example when he went to a new school and made tons of friends or when he has a chimp brother.

Zan has been bad cause he has been getting older and acting like a piece of crap. I notice the authors style was to show you want a chimp could be. And when he showed the feeling that the chimp had he didn't tell he showed them for example, "Zan threw his food across the table and hit dad straight in the face." He showed it he didn't tell it.

He had a girl over and he was getting really nervous. He wanted to make himself look good so he wore nice clothes and old spice. She was kind of questioning why he was wearing that and used the old spice. All the teenagers were drinking wine and all of them were enjoying it. It was interesting why they would enjoy wine when they're each thirteen and fourteen.

the author wanted you to realize that this book was made because he wanted you to understand if you had a chimp brother. His text structure is with few bits of dialogue but not an over load of tons of it. Good amounts of action its loaded like dialogue in some different books. I noticed that the book is not overwhelming in all parts. Keeps me in action with most characters in it
