(Inferencing) In chapter 55 they talk about how Constantine changed the Bible to unify people. I think that the author is hinting that the Catholic Church today is also changing the Bible to gain more power and they are trying to stop people like Langton from exposing these truths.

(Connection) When Langton, Sophie and Vernet are driving away in the armored truck, it really reminds me of bank robbery movies like Oceans Eleven, and it also reminded me of the armored truck scene in the new Mission Impossible Movie. I also thought it was funny when a police officer interrogated Vernet and he pretends to be a normal worker, and the officer sees his Rolex. I’m surprised they got away.

(Summary) Langton and Sophie are trying to get into Sophie’s grandfathers safety deposit box. They only have one chance and they successfully open it using the Fibonacci sequence. Inside there is a box with a holy grail symbol on it.

(Favorites) In chapter 38, you learn that the Holy Grail is not just a cup, to is an allegory for something. I find it interesting that not many people know about this, and that the church doesn’t want you to know this.

(Favorites) An interesting fact that I learned is that the Knights Templar extended credit to bankrupt officials and charged interest in order to further expand their influence.
