Clan of the Cave Bear this is not. Clunky writing aside, this has been a unique and engaging story thus saving it from my rather significant DNF pile. My inner editor has been shrieking wanting to bar this author from ever writing another sex scene. The charge - criminal overuse and frankly repellent words like "throbbing" and "engorged" I kept thinking that those words would be better applied to an infection.
