Like a great wine aged to perfection, the story of Blood Relations was 20 years in the making with editing, reviewing and revising. Like a skilled sculptor, every time I read a chapter, I'd sharpen the edges and perfect the artwork. I could easily have spent another 20 years revising it but realized at some point I must let it go so I can share the story with readers and work on the sequels.
