I'm not a reliable source because my memory is not spot-on but could it be in one of the novella about her and Jim ? But get a second opinion because I don't trust myself with this kind of info😜

I flipped through my copy of Magic Dreams because I couldn't remember either, but all I kept seeing was that her magic was specific to white tigers and was extremely rare and powerful. Nothing about her being sacred (though I was flipping through a paperback so I might have missed it).
I read that story a long time ago and I didn't remember that bit at all. Was there another story that centered on Dali and Jim? That's what I'm wondering. I kind of lost track of the KD shorts, but I thought I was all caught up until I saw that mentioned in Magic Triumphs. Now I feel like I'm missing something.
As far as I know there was two novellas with them as the MC. First was Magic Dreams (4.5 in the series) and there was Magic Steals (6.5).
What Aly said. I think there was just the two. I’m curious about where it came up that she was sacred as well because that surprised me in Triumphs.
Maybe it was Magic Steals then. I'll have to read it again. I don't think it ever came up in any of the novels. It's possible it's something that comes up later in the Hugh/Elara trilogy too. 🤔
