I'm on to Part II now. And the last few pages of Part I were okay. A bit more action than all the rest of them combined. I do hope that Part II holds a bit more excitement though. I'd hate to DNF this one before I figure/find out who or what the whole Beast thing is.

Full disclosure: I don't like historicals. At all. So, I really don't know what pulled me in to this book. The blurb maybe? I guess just plain ol' morbid curiosity. I just have to know what the Beast part of the title is all about. But...that being said...I'm kind of bored so far. I hope that changes as I continue reading.
