I notice that was interesting that was Susan carol was acting strange cause she never acted like that. I wrote down a L.A.T.E and that helped me a lot with understanding the character more. Susan was not where she was supposed to be when she wasn't with her group of friends. I think that she was thinking that she needed more freedom or something else to do

I'm focusing on character and I did looks like, acts like, thinks like and effect. They look like they would be a motivational swimmer that could tell people good quotes. Acts like, they are really hyper and always ready for action. They think like they never want to not be prepared. Then they effect off of all of this is that they would what to try new things and never give up.

The thing that interest me is how the author showed and wasn't telling through most the parts I'v been in. He didn't try to tell when he was describing a character or showing what the pool looked like. The when he told something it was with description not like "they had a blue shirt" or something like that. It was like there blue stripped shirts with a red frog, more like that.

I text coded in my book where the character completely changes a few times, sometimes she was thinking a sad moment in her past then she was ready to swim for a national team. Then she changed again when she was ready to go home all tired and sweaty then she noticed she had one more swim meat. the author showed that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

The author wants to explain to you that "good things through life don't come easy," which was a quote in this book and it really means a lot to people that struggle. He also showed that when you read you can feel how the character is feeling and what they're doing. Susan is mostly who you can feel struggle.

I think that the author was using good amounts of dialogue when people were talking, also it wasn't overwhelming. I was trying to figure out what was the author wanted the reader to know, was it going to be how be a better writer?

The author has a good style of writing, he explains how and why this or that is important he barley ever shows no action and he. He uses good amounts of dialogue through out the book. When he uses dialogue its not overwhelming with too much, also he describes each and every one with specific details.
