No surprises Nathan, if a review is hidden for whatever reason then your friends and followers still can see it - just nobody else on the bookpage*. Or if you are logged out for egs. *shrugs*

Even w/out a single ´like´ it was already on the second page shortly after I have posted it. Now it looks like it is fallen into an abyss.

Its now the first one on default on the bookpage after taking out the forbidden word. Hah, that will show you!

I forget that things appear differently when not logged-in because I'm never not logged-in. The goodreads algorithm for organizing and listing reviews remains opaque to me. I thought only of some combination of Likes and Comments and perhaps age, etc; now we have evidence perhaps of prudishness on the part of the algorithm? Put WHORE back in but this time in the first few lines and in all caps and bold and perhaps needlessly repeated and see what happens. ; )

Not sure about the "prudishness on the part of the algorithm". I *think* it must be flagged first by someone, so maybe *someone* (whoever, that could be anyone - really) did feel offended that I have used a *dirty* word in the review, never mind the context.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I´d rather not :D
