Wow, I knew I would enjoy any literature from the incomparable Maeve Binchy but this is excellent! Two short stories are so good, rich, and profound for their brevity that I am in disbelief at how she achieved them! To think, "Victoria Line" is only her second published book. I have "Central Line" too in a duology release and couldn't recall that it was the first. "Victoria Line" is put first, maybe for a reason.

I treasure the fabulous Maeve Binchy and sometimes wait a year or two, before reading the next of her oeuvres in my queue. I own everything she has written and savour them because each is an experience that is permanently memorable. I shall miss her when my collection eventually is finished. She is the first general fiction authoress that I adored.
