Not really. It's the same MCs but their cases are different and this is more about guns, tobacco because the agency they work for is ATF. There are barely any murder investigations. And it took some time to warm up to the series. But it's really good now! It's on KU so if you want to try... but they are really hot together so just for that I would try but the rest of the characters are good, the humor is nice too, many funny moments. I think you should try!
