I'm still impressed by the span of Prof. Nidhal's research. However I'm starting to feel it didn't cover much arguments present in the Arab world -Perhaps, idk, the current 'scientific' debates weren't present at the time. The most impressive thing to me is the new topics that he refers to in the Islam-science debate (like cosmology) that actually shed new lights.

Professor Nidhal impresses me again with his width of knowledge, and by the way he moves along building his arguments and making his point of reviving the scientific spirit and thought within the Muslim community.
However, I am wary of his easiness of accepting Shahrour's hermeneutic theories without substantially arguing for it religious-wise and considering the authenticity of his claims and methods.
