One more thing, before I forget: I've seen "franticly" put down twice in this book, amid other mispellings and typos. No matter whether you use American or British spellings overall, "franticly" doesn't exist. "Frantically" does.

Okay, I've buckled down and finished this without any more updates, and I've let it stew for a few hours, so I'm ready to send up my promised review.

Applause!
I am on page 183, and Chapter 21 was very well done. Karah and her crew have reached their awakening.

Mmmm...definitely enjoying the book, but isn't Karah ever going to ask what her "true form" looks like?

All right, so, I'm having very mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand, there is a staggering overabundance of typos, misplaced or misrepresented words, and tense-changes in midsentence. On the other hand, the plot is quite intriguing and I already like a number of the characters.
Well, we'll wait and see, won't we?
