I loved the first 40% off this book - the description of the school and the whole gifted children training and studying trope is my favourite and is incredibly well written. But this second half has me starting to lose interest. I know the title literally says “war” but I didn’t expect it to be so based on it as it is now. I miss the school stuff!!
