I think what I like the most about this book is how complex Dagner, Brid and Moril's relationship with their parents is. In their own way, both Lenina and Clennen are good and honorable people, while also objectively being terrible parents. In many ways, this is a story about how they come to terms with their parents' faults and true personality.
