As a painter who has dabbled my whole life and now takes a wonderful class as a retiree, I enjoy immensely. Also as a retired librarian, always looking for books on the topic, but they never quite hit the mark. I'm really enjoying this one and it is useful and the layout is easy. Most books about art are either huge with paintings or the advice is not imparted properly. This is a goodie.
