For as quickly as this book was thrown together (Ryan is mentioned as the VP candidate), it has a massive amount of research that underscores what we already very well know: the middle class has been, is and will be screwed. I found the interview-style and case study format hard to navigate, but the research compiled that demonstrates the history of the demise of the middle class is satisfyingly illuminating.
