It’s interesting how Soloman was so grand and wise until the day he met her, and then it all rubbed off on her and now he is failing as a ruler. Makes for a great story!

Pet peeve of mine: when a book about the ancient Egyptians or the ancient Israelites talks about growing corn. No. Corn was a North American crop unknown to the ancient east. This crop was not growing in the Middle East. Please research before writing books!

I feel like after reading this book my vocabulary will have improved.

Lovely vocabulary. I’ve had to look up a few words in the dictionary which impressed me. I love a book that challenges me.
