A truly excellent book, a well written gripping story - characters you instantly love, and others that you instantly dislike. It has a bit of everything, humour, friendship, pain, distress and some violence, but all handled well.
Reminds me of early Charlie Higson and also has a couple of nice nods to Sir Terry Pratchett.
I recommend this book wholeheartedly, I will read it again, and look forward to the next one
