Still reading. It's weird, I was probably an irritating little autodidact myself...but as a writer it would never occur to me that my childhood errors in pronunciation or usage would make for entertaining fiction. Is this a guy thing? And seriously, I knew who Edna St Vincent Millay was by the time I was nine. Also--can he stop with the 'heavy boots' thing? PLEASE? It is going to be a deal-breaker.
